The Raphael House school fair was the first public showing of 2 of our electric converted cargo bikes. Naturally we rode the bikes there loaded up with kids and gear. The school is built on the side of a hill and has a super steep drive, so steep that I actually had to do some work when I offer a mum and her child a ride up on the back of the bike.
Natalie, Stewart and I spent the whole day talking to allot of people, all trying to come to grips with the idea of running a bike like a car. It is a very interesting time in our society, where people realise the good of bicycles and are starting to accept electric motors and batteries actually can last along time and go all the places your car can, but they are just ..not..quite..ready.. to step away from using their cars. In saying that, we have sold 3 electric converted bikes since the fair so some peoples minds are changing.
I really enjoy the Steiner school fairs, always very down to earth people with broad visions and open minds. Great crafts and entertainment. And a big thankyou to the fair organisers for being so welcoming to us having the bikes there.

Lovely story. Great to see you out there promoting and happy to hear that some people are taking the leap to logical transport options, and making the investment.
